Head Boy/Girl & House Captains
How are Head Boy and Head Girl chosen?
Our Head Boy and Head Girl are chosen by the staff at St Laurence's. It is an anonymous vote made in the Summer Term. The Head Boy and Head Girl are then announced in an assembly when we return to school in September. They will also receive a special jumper which they can wear in school to acknowledge their status in school.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Act as an ambassador for the school both in and out.
· Develop pride and spirit in the school and within our respective teams.
· Be a model of good leadership and positive behaviour to the whole school community.
· Each week, collect the house points across the school which have been awarded to pupils for their effort in school.
. Support Senior Leaders in our weekly celebration assembly
House Captains
Our House Captains represent four houses:
Topaz
Emerald
Ruby
Sapphire
Every child in school is allocated a house when they arrive here at St Laurence's and we keep siblings together in the same house. House captains are responsible for collecting House Points and announcing to the school the totals in our Celebration Assembly. A house cup is on display in our school hall so we can celebrate the weekly winners!
