Welcome to Year 2!

The teachers in Year 2 are Miss Austin and Miss Shahzada and the teaching assistants are Mrs Gault and Miss Patrick.

You may also see Miss Ladbrooke and Mrs Parker-Smith. 

Key Information

You can now send us emails with any questions you have, any wonderful work your child has completed or interesting photos to share with your child's class. The Year 2 team will respond to you as soon as possible. The email is:

PE

Our PE day is on Tuesday. Please make sure your child comes to school with the correct PE kit:

- plain white T-shirt 

- plain black shorts/jogging bottoms

- black shoes

Water bottles

Please make sure your child comes to school with a water bottle. Please pop their name on it so they do not get lost!

Reading books

 We will be sending home reading books and will be changing these throughout the week. Please make sure you sign your child's reading diary so we can keep up to date with what they have read. We will also be trying to read with them in school, therefore your child needs to bring their reading book in every day. 

Times Table Rock Stars (TTRS)

Your child's login and password for TTRS can be found on the front of their reading diary. Please encourage them to play the game as often as possible. Children can earn certificates during our celebration assembly for being the best rocker, making the most improvement and earning the most coins! If you or your child is having trouble logging on, please let your child's teacher know. 

Wild Passport

Wild Passport is on Thursday, please provide your child with wellies and a warm coat. Children will be taking part in Wild Passport with Mr Wallen until the Christmas Break.
